Here we are again in December 2011.
Not a ton has changed.
But after a full year in our new surroundings we are settling in. We are surrounded in community (literally, there are 10 of us in our house). We are becoming familiar. The kids are getting more involved in activities and helping us spread out into our neighborhood more and more. We are learning to enjoy Salt Lake despite how much we miss family, friends, and all the colors of green that do not exist in the desert.
Over the next few days I'll post some thoughts (pictures!) from 2011 and then we can look ahead to what has been so far a great 2012.
