July 4th

We started out the 4th of July taking part in a good old Eugene tradition, the Butte to Butte Race. Hanging out at the finish line of a great race like that has me itching to get myself back in running shape. The kids had fun waiting eagerly for their favorite finishers.......

Then some serious fun was had by all at the playground.....





We headed back up to Portland for an awesome afternoon at the park for a huge BBQ/potluck/bounce house/firework palooza! The kids partied with all their pals from about 3 in the afternoon until 10pm! It's no wonder that this was the sort of meltdown that ensued soon after arriving home........
