Good thing we got the book

Today's breakfast conversation:

Cole "Did we buy this house?"

Mom: "No"

Cole: "Did we buy our old house?"

Mom: "No"

Cole: "Are we going to ever buy a house?"

Me: "I don't know, it's something we haven't decided yet."

Cole: "Hmm. Well, it's a good thing we got the book."

Me: (confused at this point) "What book?"

Cole: "You know, the new coupon book daddy brought home yesterday."

Me: (realizing he is talking about the Chinook Book at this point) "Why is that a good thing?"

Cole: "It has coupons for everything, so now you can buy a house."


I guess you can't buy something if you don't have a coupon.....That's probably not a bad thing to let him keep on believing. Maybe it will make him a frugal shopper as he grows up.
