Scandinavian Festival 2010

The Scandinavian Festival was a very busy 4 days of dancing for the kids. First a parade and then 2 performances a day made for some tired kiddos at the end of the weekend. But they loved every minute and didn't want to skip a show, even when mommy really wanted to.

Day 1 had everyone up bright and early looking their finest. The girls sat fairly still for hair braiding that day and were more than willing to pose for pictures in their costumes.

They were very pleased with the wreaths mommy had made them.....the night before. (There's no reason to have things finished any earlier than you need them, right??)

The Cox Kids decked in their Scandinavian finery....

And the whole clan, excited for the parade to begin.....

But first, a quick photo with the Vikings...

The parade was great fun. They waved and smiled and a few of my sister's cheerleaders happily helped escort them along the way...

And finally, on Day 4 I tried to get a few action shots of them all.

Thanks to everyone who came out to watch them dance. They loved seeing everyone and they were always so excited to see who would be there to see them each day!
