Trader Joe's
The biggest grocery shopping treat is a trip to Trader Joe's. Not only does mom usually come out of there with some sort of yummy extra that was not on the list, but you can also earn a free treat while you're there. They hide a stuffed kitten somewhere in the store and if you find it you get to tell the person at the cash register. Then they ring the big bell, everyone cheers, and you get to pick a treat out of the basket. And sometimes they even have balloons. Seriously, how much better could a trip to the grocery store get?!

How did you know that about the kitten? I always wondered about that bell and all the cheering. Maybe you parents have some sort of secret society.
